As the speed of change—and the number of challenges—grow in healthcare, leaders increasingly recognize the urgency of using data to guide decisions and drive improvement. The Analytics & Improvement Library (“the Library”) is a collection of educational resources developed by Health Catalyst University (HCU) to help new clients begin their data-informed improvement journey. The problemAs organizations begin their journey in making data-driven decisions, they need three things:
Because most analytics vendors can't provide this support, organizations often experience delayed and halting progress toward their goals. Our approachThe Analytics and Improvement Library accelerates change during the first year of partnership with Health Catalyst. The Library defines standards surrounding new tools and skills; fosters a deeper partnership with CSLs, TDs, and ADs; and ignites a spark in client early adopters. The Library includes SpotChecks, courses, and assessments to measure and develop analytics and improvement literacy. These resources work together to define best practices and articulate standards surrounding the tools Health Catalyst offers. Client Success Leads (CSLs) will manage client access to the Library. CSLs will partner with clients, Technical Directors (TDs), and Analytics Directors (ADs) to determine which resources to use, when to use them, and with whom. CSLs will meet regularly with HCU to monitor utilization. The Library is a first step when onboarding a new client organization. Because it is only the first step, a limited number of named user licenses granting access to the Library will be provided. The number of licenses will be based on organization size. These licenses are available for the first year of a new contract. Benefits and featuresThe Library includes content for both analysts and leaders regarding healthcare, analytics, and improvement. Learning modules help develop the technical and nontechnical competencies crucial to all those supporting healthcare improvement. Modules include:
Health Catalyst team members will train more effectively and efficiently using learning experiences rooted in neuroscience, delivered in an online platform proven to facilitate rapid and effective learning. |
